Just sitting here listening to the first raindrops hit our metal roof...and it is a glorious sound. Amazing to finally have some regular rainfall happening. Enough to make the watering restrictions not such a death sentence.

It is truly a wonderful sound, isn't it? I am squirreled away in my office doing paperwork and loving being INSIDE and knowing my plants are being lovingly cared for outside, without me!
...but did you get those two extra days of heat to set a record?
Ricki- NOOOOOOO! We have been denied the record so far. But September usually holds a hot day or two- it will be a stretch though.
I don't know about you, Bonnie, but I'm willing to let those two days go. What do you say?
